I always thought of the IS series, especially the older IS300's to be a modern interpretation of the Cressida. 4 door luxury sedan with Supra underpinnings.

I never really thought about it until I was parking, you’re totally right though.

they were. now they’ve stopped allowing right hand drive cars... or so taxi folks in Aruba said.
More importantly i’ve discovered a car models I have never seen before and I find them stunning.

That’s how I was when I first went to Korea, most of the cars there are home market, my mind was blown for the first few weeks I was there.

Except it’s not a Camry since it has a FR layout...so it’s like a Toyota Caprice. For me, when I first went to Taiwan, I really liked the looks of the Nissan Teana, which is nothing more than a fancy Maxima/Altima. Foreign market cars are weird.
